In 2005, we, the founders of Karaoke Pilot, set forth to find a way to make Karaoke mix discs and to archive our collections of Karaoke discs on our computer.  We were tired of bringing 15 or more discs to sing Karaoke when there were only 1 or 2 songs per disc that we were interested in singing.

We first turned to the Internet and found a few possible solutions.  There were some programs designed for this, but none worked with our CD/DVD burner.  Many visits to our local electronics store were also fruitless, as even drives claiming compatibility just didn't work.

After months of research and testing, we finally found one clear software winner, Power CD+G Burner.  Significant further research and frustration led us to just 3 or 4 drives (out of more than 50 on the market) that would create universally compatible Karaoke discs that would play anywhere!  We had discovered the best software, hardware, and critical configuration settings to make it all work, every time!
